An example of how the body uses fuel in order: 1. alcohol 2. protein 3. carbs 4. fat The body will use every available source of fuel BEFORE it uses fat. So, that brings us back to the simple equation: “Calories being burned needs to exceed calories being taken in if losing belly fat forever is the goal.” And that can be done two ways and only two ways: 1. reduce the calories consumed (diet) 2. increase the burn (exercise) It ain’t rocket science.
